Lifted - Boil Water Advisory - Your Water is Safe to Consume

TO: ALL RESIDENTS OF RIMROCK COVE

Date: May 13, 2026

NOTICE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY for Rimrock Cove has been lifted effective immediately

Dear Homeowner,

The precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted effective immediately.  Biological testing has determined there is no contamination in our water supply and our water is safe to consume.

Thank you for your support and patience as we finally commission our new water tank.

Reminder:

  • Your water pressure is higher. It will not create a new leak, but any existing leak could become more noticeable. Inspect your plumbing connections as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Rimrock Cove Board of Directors

Road Seal Coating Information

Hello Rimrock owners,

We have contracted to have our roads seal coated and cracks filled. The contractor has a short-notice opening, so this work is scheduled for next week: Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15. There is a small area near the 400 loop that will not be seal coated because of tree root damage. The repair of this section will be resolved at a later date.

Please wait until Friday, April 17 to put your boats in the boat basin to give the sealer an extra day to dry.

Update April 14th: Seal coating will be rescheduled and completed as follows when it is forecasted to be dry and much warmer:

  • Monday, April 20 (left side of Moore Rd)

  • Tuesday April 21 (right side of Moore Rd)

The asphalt contractor has set a flat fee of $100/per lot for seal coat on anyone’s private property. Please contact our park manager, Jeff, at 509-632-5200 or email at manager@rimrockcove.com to add your lot number to the list.

Water Tank Update

Hello Rimrock owners,

Hard to believe spring is here already but we’ve been working hard all winter to make sure we’re on track to have the new water tank operational this year.

Gray Excavation was selected to work with Western Pacific Engineering and Baker Silo to coordinate all the required construction specifications. In January and February, we met 10 excavation companies and received 9 bids back. Gray Excavation is an Ephrata company with a competitive price and the experience to do this big project.

We have two final permits to secure but the general timeline will be:

  • April/May, Discretionary Use Permit should be complete

  • Mid-May/June, Final permits and Excavation

  • June/July, Tank Construction

August/Mid-September, Connection and testing of new tank. Completion of all plumbing and excavation. Decommission of old tank.

This new water tank will be a valuable investment to help ensure the long-term success of our community. We currently have most of this in our reserve fund and, at this time, are not anticipating any special assessments.

It will be exciting to watch the project develop over the summer.
