Bill Leonard - Park Manager

Bill Leonard is our Park Manager and is on his second stint as our manager. After 20 years with the Seattle Police Department, Bill managed the park for several years before relocating to Pomeroy where he farmed and worked for Columbia Grainery eventually he found himself back in the park manager role at RRC.

Bill has also been a long time owner- first purchasing a lot in the late 80’s and like most owners enjoyed raising his family out on the lake. His daughters both own lots and he enjoys spending spring, summer and fall with their families- especially his grandkids. Bill has tremendous pride in keeping this park a safe, beautiful environment for our owners and their guests. When not working, Bill loves to watch sports and tries to cheer on his grandkids in all their activities as much as possible.

Marilyn Malone - Office Assistant

Marilyn’s passion, while raising her children, was to raise, train and show Shelties and rescue dogs locating good homes for them. After her husband Jim retired from the papermill, she worked at Walmart in Puyallup, WA for 8 years. Marilyn started her work career with RRC as a part-time office assistant in 2018 and in 2019 she became the full-time office assistant. Marilyn enjoys many craft hobbies and has enjoyed dabbling in tole painting. She is also an active person who enjoys off-roading in their jeep, climbing the dunes in a sand rail and camping in a trailer or a boat with her husband Jim and close family and friends. She has three children, two of which are twins.


Jim Malone - Park Maintenance

Jim spent his career working for the papermill in Tacoma, WA. He first started at St Regis Paper Mill, which then became Champion-International who one year later was bought by Simpson Paper. Jim retired after 35 years to start his own stump grinding business which he kept for 10 years. He started working for RRC in 2021 to assist the manager with grounds and equipment maintenance. In 2022, he became a full-time grounds maintenance employee and in 2023 Jim became the temporary park manager. Jim is a natural mechanic who loves to go off-road in his jeep, build sand rails out of old VWs and can fix almost anything. He likes fishing and has enjoyed dry and boat camping with his wife, Marilyn, and close family and friends. He has three children, two of which are twins.
