Lake is Low

Taken this evening - Tuesday August 25th.

The lake is extremely low, probably the lowest we have ever seen it.  Because of the levels the only usable boat slips are the ones towards the end.

Please remind guests that bringing a boat is not going to be a great idea for the rest of the summer until the lake level rises again.

Bear in the Park!

bear.jpg

As some of you may already know, we had a black bear in the park on July 24, 2015. The game warden was able to relocated him. We need to remind everyone that a bear is a wild animal and to keep your distance. The warden said he was looking for food. So please always keep our garbage and bbq's cleaned up, and the fish station maintained. If we continue to be a food source, he'll be back!

If you have any questions, please contact the office. We have a direct number for the game warden.

Thank you!!

Hello Rimrockers -

Please see the important reminders below:

1)  Please, PLEASE have all your guests check in at the office. This is anyone not riding with or driving an owners vehicle.

2)  Pick up after your pets and your guest pets. There have been too many complaints about this matter.

3)  Keep your pet and guest pets on a leash.

4)  According to our Rules and Regulations, #29, “additional recreational vehicles may be parked on an individual lot for a period not to exceed 14 days at which time the recreational vehicle shall be removed from the lot for a minimum of 14 days.”  This means that a motorhome, trailer, camper, tent trailer, etc. may not be parked on your lot for more than 14 days at a time and must be removed for a minimum of 14 days, if you have a primary structure already on your lot.

4th of July Parade

The annual 4th of July Parade did not disappoint.  Everyone was happy the time was moved up from 1pm to 11 am because it was hot, hot, hot!

If you weren't here to experience it - Randy Hill (Lot 104) transformed into Fred Flinstone complete with his dog Baby Girl as Wilma.

Kristin Gopal's golf cart became a complete Rhinoceros, in honor of their deck name The Rhino Lounge.

Thanks again to everyone that participated!
