Dryfalls

In the heart of the Grand Coulee lies one of the natural wonders of North America—the Dry Falls cataract. This 3.5-mile-wide chasm of basalt, with a drop of 400 feet, was left high and dry thousands of years ago as the last of several Ice Age floods swept through the Grand Coulee.

Lenore Caves

Lake Lenore Caves consist of 7 distinct caves, all easily accessible from the dirt trail. The caves were formed by the plucking of basalt rocks from the walls of the coulees during the recession of the last ice age. The caves were used thousands of years ago as storage and shelter for traveling prehistoric man.

 

Vic Meyers Golf Course

Vic Meyers 9 hole golf course is located at Sun Lakes Park Resort in Coulee City, Washington. It features 3,093 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35 . Vic Meyers Golf Course opened in 1947.

Grand Coulee Dam

Grand Coulee Dam, on the Columbia River west of Spokane, Washington, is one of the largest structures ever built by mankind--a mass of concrete standing 550 feet high and 5,223 feet long, or just shy of a mile.
