Playground Details

Let's dig in to what the new playground is going to look like!

To refresh your memory, here is a shot of the current playground which doesn't get much action these days due to design, age, and weathering.  To expand, most of the wood is rotting and splitting creating an unsafe play environment for children.  The ground cover consists of dirt and pebbles and the swings are beyond repair.

The new playground was thoughtfully designed to accommodate different age groups including toddlers, kiddos, tweens, and even adults!

Please remember to take a minute the next time you are at the lake to thank Sarah Kautzman and Andra Mancer for spearheading this project into reality!

We hope you enjoyed this preview.  Remember this playground can't come to life unless we have people to help tear down the existing structures and build the new ones!

See the calendar for a list of dates and times for the work parties.

If you build it, they will come ... to a new playground!

Owners this is very exciting news!

Rim Rock Cove will be renovating/replacing most of the playground equipment for the kids with a fresh and updated playground in the orchard.

Sarah Kautzman + Andra Mancer have worked tirelessly on researching and presenting a variety of new options.  Almost every age group was addressed in the design of the playground and there are some exciting additions on the list!  Thank you so much!

The Board of Directors would like to have the new playground installed and ready for use by Memorial Day Weekend!  With that in mind there is a lot of work to be done and we will need as many people as possible to help with the total makeover.

Please bring gloves and any hand tools you think may be of use.

Here are the dates and times for each work party:

May 6 - 8:00 am
May 7 - 9:00 am
May 13 - 8:00 am
