RRC Community Space - Donations Needed!

Rimrock Cove community,

The RRC Community Space Committee has been working diligently to create an outdoor area that everyone can enjoy and cherish. We are focused on developing a space that is not only practical but also inviting, offering shelter from various weather conditions while remaining simple and easy to maintain.

With your support, we can transform our vision into reality. The funds we raise will allow us to establish a welcoming environment that fosters connection and appreciation within our community for years to come. Imagine gathering with friends, hosting events, or simply enjoying a quiet moment outdoors in a beautiful setting designed for all.

With major infrastructure projects consuming the majority of our reserve funds we have been looking for a way to allow this project to progress in a timely manner. As a community at the annual meeting we voted to raise the funds through direct donations. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to achieving this goal. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a lasting impact on our community.

Water Tank Update

Hello Rimrock owners,

Hard to believe spring is here already but we’ve been working hard all winter to make sure we’re on track to have the new water tank operational this year.

Gray Excavation was selected to work with Western Pacific Engineering and Baker Silo to coordinate all the required construction specifications. In January and February, we met 10 excavation companies and received 9 bids back. Gray Excavation is an Ephrata company with a competitive price and the experience to do this big project.

We have two final permits to secure but the general timeline will be:

  • April/May, Discretionary Use Permit should be complete

  • Mid-May/June, Final permits and Excavation

  • June/July, Tank Construction

August/Mid-September, Connection and testing of new tank. Completion of all plumbing and excavation. Decommission of old tank.

This new water tank will be a valuable investment to help ensure the long-term success of our community. We currently have most of this in our reserve fund and, at this time, are not anticipating any special assessments.

It will be exciting to watch the project develop over the summer.

Annual Meeting, Bake Sale, Events, Miscellaneous Notices

Rimrockers,

On the 24th we will have the Annual Meeting at 10:00 a.m. and the bake sale. With a Poker Walk on Sunday from 7pm to 8:30.

We need donations for the bake sale. You can either bake something or buy sweets from one of the local stores. The bake sale will again be set up in the Orchard and you can leave your donations in the office the day before or have them in the Orchard by 9:00 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the events for the year.

The Poker Walk will again start in the Office/Conference room. It still costs just a dollar to play and you get a nice walk and a chance to visit with friends.

Bishop will be spraying for spiders soon. If you want them to spray your place - call them at 509-760-4958. They will bill you after the spraying is done.

KJ is offering to weedeat your place every Thursday all summer for $48.78 including tax. Their Phone is 509-760-2420.
