Annual Membership Meeting and Ballots

Dear Owners,

The Annual Membership Meeting will be Saturday, May 24th at 10am in the Orchard. The ballots have been sent.

  • Electronic Ballots: If you are the owner set to receive your ballot electronically please check your email you should have received it this morning.

  • Mail Ballots: Your ballot has been sent via US mail, you should receive it early this week.

  • All Owners: Attached we have shared a copy of the cover letter and candidate statements. All official voting materials are included in the ballot packet sent to the individual email address or mailing address of the owner set to receive the ballot for your lot.

For those of you who receive your ballot electronically, a big thank you, 75% of our membership choose to vote this way. Electronic voting is saving us about $500 per year (electronic ballots cost us $0.44 per lot/year; paper ballots $4.00/per lot/year). Electronic voting has provided us with a considerable amount of savings over the last few years. Not to mention the time and environmental savings. So again thank you.

If you still receive a paper ballot and would like to consider moving to electronic please let me know I'm happy to show you how easy it is.

Sincerely,
Heidi
RRC Secretary

New Park Manager, Welcome Jeff!

Another season is underway and with its beginning comes a fresh face. Jeff Roesner has taken over the duties of Park Manager effective this Wednesday, April 9th. He will be living in the Managers residence.

Jeff retired from the Navy and then continued his career as a civilian contractor for the Navy. He brings a wealth of experience to the Park. His planned schedule is Wednesday through Sunday. Please note the hours for him are 8 am to 5 pm and only emergencies will be handled after 5 pm. Please say hi and introduce yourself.

Bill will be working a few hours each week to train Jeff through the season. Joe Lilley is back doing our watering. Marilyn Malone will be working in the office Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a new office person will be working Sunday and Monday. Cathy Ward will return to make sure our restrooms are good to go and we will be in the process of hiring a seasonal maintenance person.

Please make sure and swing by the office prior to putting your boat in the basin. All boats must get a new sticker this season and require Manager permission prior to parking.

Sincerely,
RRC Board of Directors
