Hello RRC Owners,

A quick update about the status of upcoming RRC events with our current COVID status in Grant County.

4th Of July Festivities

  • This year the board has chosen not to host decorations for a 4th of July parade due to restrictions in gathering and the risk of shared materials. However, please feel free to decorate your own bike or golf cart and meet outside the office at 11 am for an unofficial, socially distanced, 4th of July bike parade.

  • Water fight immediately following the parade in Coulee Circle.

50th Anniversary Celebration

  • Postponed until July 3rd, 2021

  • If you would like to submit memories or photos for the 50th Anniversary memory book please email to: rimrock50th@outlook.com.

July 25th Car Show

  • The 2020 Car Show has been canceled. Please keep a lookout for dates for the 2021 Car Show.

Labor Day Events

  • The status of Labor Day events are still to be determined. As we get closer to that date a decision will be made following recommendations set by Grant Co. and the State of WA. For the most up to date information keep an eye on the Website or follow us on Facebook.

Revised FY2020 Budget

Dear Fellow Rimrockers,

We hope this note finds you safe and well.

You will soon receive a hard copy of the adopted revised budget for FY 2020 in the mail and a ballot seeking your approval of the budget. Given the circumstances associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a mail-in/drop-off ballot as we did for the election of new board directors.

  • The ballots are due to the Rim Rock office no later than June 30th.

Additional budget details have been emailed to you.

50th Anniversary Celebration Postponed

Hello Rim Rock Cove Family and Friends! We will unfortunately have to postpone our 50th Anniversary Celebration until Saturday July 3, 2021. We have a fun western-themed evening planned for you all, so dust off your hats and boots and mark your calendars to save the new date!

For those of you that have already submitted your memories and photos from your years at Rim Rock Cove... THANK YOU! For those of you that have not, feel free to forward your memories and photos to rimrock50th@outlook.com. They will be compiled into a memory book that will be printed after our 50th-anniversary celebration, and will be available to everyone. A sample form to fill out to share your memories is attached.

RRC reminders during COVID-19

Hello fellow RRC Owners,

During this challenging time battling COVID-19, we wanted to inform and remind everyone of the following:

  1. The office is still considered closed, but we will have office staff working during the following hours:

    • Saturday 10am - 2pm

    • Monday 10am - 1pm

    • Tuesday 10am - 2pm

    If you have a question, please remember to email rimrockoffice@gmail.com or call 509-632-5200 and leave a message. If it's urgent, please knock on the office door, and remember not to enter the office for the safety of our staff.

  2. Please remember to Social Distance 6' apart, and not to gather in crowds larger than 10.

  3. We are not selling Ice or other consumables at this time, so stock up before you arrive at the lake:

    • The Blue Lake Resort is selling ice, plus Soap Lake and Ephrata both have ice vending machines.

  4. When using the Laundry Rooms:

    • Please remember to wipe down the doorknobs, and any other surfaces you touched for the next person.

    • We recommend for your own safety to wear gloves when using the laundry rooms.

    • Bill is also wiping down the laundry rooms daily to keep them sanitized.

If we all do our part, we will get through this together!
