Nomination of Board Members

Rim Rock Cove Association Owners:

The RRC Board of Directors will be losing three experienced members beginning in June due to their terms expiring. The current Board has been a very productive. We need new members to come aboard in June to help us with the decisions necessary to maintain and improve the park for everyone. These new Board members can bring new ideas, opinions and energy to the decision making process that affects all RRC owners. 

It is important to remember that the RRC Board of Directors is responsible for providing the leadership and vision necessary to protect and improve the value of the park for all homeowners. Currently, total physical assets of the park including owner properties, roads, sewer systems, electrical systems, common ground, the boat moorage, buildings, etc. have a very significant value.  The association is financially stronger than at any recent period but the Board has a big responsibility to continue proper management of RRC activities to assure a quality park.

I invite you to participate in the activities of the Board of Directors by submitting your name in nomination and/or nominating someone you think can provide the input and leadership needed in support of Rim Rock Cove. You already have a voice. As a Board member you will also have a vote. Also, monthly dues will not be required for active Board members. This can help to offset travel and any incidental expenses. 

Ballots for the May meeting need to be prepared and mailed to the membership in April so please email, mail or personally communicate your nominations to me – Harold Chadwick (hjcr1b93@live.com) – or to any current Board member as soon as possible.

Good afternoon RimRockers!!!!

As most of you know, the office is now open!  There is so much going on this time of year with the staff getting geared up to have an amazing season…there are also some ways that you as an owner can help. Attached is the first Newsletter of the 2015 season. Please take some time and review it.  

The office has a fresh look, so when you come open up your summer homes please stop in an say ‘Hi’. This is also a great time to update any address information, phone numbers, or email changes. Speaking of changes…check out our new website www.rimrockcove.com!

WINTER AT THE LAKE

Many owners visit Rim Rock Cove during the summer months, but did you know that a number of people enjoy coming year round?

Winter is a quiet time at the lake but takes on its own beauty.  The 2014/2015 winter was unseasonably warm, but in past years the lake froze deep enough to allow owners to walk or ice skate on it.

Over the New Year holiday many owners come for the annual brush pile bonfire down by the boat launch.  It's a time to come together, have a few cocktails, and reconnect.
